Leadshine focuses on enhancing product competitiveness, insisting on using the most advanced technology to provide maximum value to our customers. In view of the current market competition, we have decided to upgrade the EL7-ECN series (including derived models) products. We will stop selling the corresponding products starting from December 31, 2026. For the above-mentioned legacy products, we recommend switching to our new-generation EL7-ECS series models. The EL7-ECS has fully upgraded performance, capable of meeting the requirements of more high-speed, high-precision applications and rapid response scenarios. We apologize for any inconvenience caused to your company during this product transition period, and our company will continue to reward our customers' understanding and support with even better quality.
The specific content of the upgrade plan is as follows:
1. Upgrade Plan
The EL7-ECN series (including derived models) products will officially enter the product discontinuation stage from June 1, 2026, and sales will stop on December 31, 2026.
2. Switching Plan
The EL7-ECN series (including derived models) will be replaced by the new generation EL7-ECS series
3. The main differences between the new and old products are explained as follows：
(1) Completely redesigned appearance;
(2) New software architecture design, with 10% increased speed loop bandwidth for faster response times.
(3) New circuit design for 1kW and below drives: The new EL7-ECS separates control power from the main power supply, enhancing safety in application scenarios. In the event of a fault, control power ensures data is not lost.
(4) Certifications: The new EL7-ECS will holds CE, STO, and UL certifications.
(5) Features:
a: The new EL7-ECS incorporates an advanced MFC5 model vibration suppression function, effectively reducing low-frequency vibrations at the end of the mechanism while shortening system tuning time.
b. The new EL7-ECS supports position comparison functionality.
c. The new EL7-ECS supports LTUNE functionality, enabling one-click self-tuning via panel buttons.
d. The minimum communication data update cycle for the new EL7-ECS has been reduced from 250μs to 62.5μs, enabling faster response times and more precise trajectory control.
e. The debugging software utilises the newly architected Motion Studio 3.0, supporting multi-axis synchronous sampling and offering more convenient utilisation of the home-positioning function module.
4. Key considerations for switching:
a) Do not directly import parameters from older model specifications
b) Use the EL7-ECS series XML file
c) The new EL7-ECS series must be operated using Motion Studio 3.0 software
